For the past 25 years, I have been proud to call Collin County my home. Growing up in this community, I graduated from Plano East Senior High School and earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Dallas. I come from humble beginnings, raised by hard-working parents who instilled in me the values of Hard work, Integrity, and Service. Like many in our community, I started working at a young age at local retail store, and later worked as a teacher before pursuing my lifelong passion for medicine. I am Psychiatrist, and my training has given me a unique perspective on the critical role mental health plays in our community. I have worked extensively to ensure that families and children receive the care they need, and I am passionate about making mental health services more accessible to all McKinney residents.
